MotorSportsUnited excert - NOSCAR CRASH RESULTS EXPLUSION!
Yesterday, Both Jack and Damian were admitted into Peruvian Oval Hospital for Massive Motorsporting Accidents(POHMMA) After a 4-car Crash between Copperine, Copperin, from The CopperNOS, and Jack and Damian McCrawne from Elite NOSCAR Racing.
It all started at lap 5, Copperin shoved Jesse Kinggrass of Whine Racing, not only taking Jesse out of the race, but it took out Olly Jenkins of Jenkins Racing aswell.
On Lap 7, Copperine P.I.T.ed Qwentin Jenkins while Damian Overtook him, showing unsurmantable bravery as he drove under the barrel rolling car of Qwentin. John Magentaflow of Whine Racing got taken out by Copperine on turn 2.
Lap 9 gave me a taste of what TRUE bravery is. a 4-car pile up caused by Copperin & Copperine took out Scarring GP* and NOSRacing* And Jack over took Copperin.
Lap 12, and the race ended. This is why:

Scarring GP drivers are Joe Kingerbean and Kyle Melonning.
NOSRacing Drivers are Sam Cloudwing and Jane Wringer
5 Safety Cars.
Damian got the win, and Jack got second.
Aftermath:
If Keiko was furious with The CopperNOS, it was nothing to how Dylan felt.
The CopperNOS have been banned forever and have disbanded.
Let's hope nothing like this happens ever again.

Its been about 3 weeks since I created the team, and Ive run 15 races. My results are fairly balanced, with the majority of the podium finishes coming recently.
Position / Number
1 / 3
2 / 3
3 / 2
4 / 2
5 / 2
6 / 3
Incredibly my first 5 races saw me finishing 4th-6th, so I avoided promotion. Mostly they were against bots at the end of the server day. Perhaps these bots are based off of competition prize winners, because they were very fast. They dont seem to represent what was in League 1 currently. This kept me in L1 to win some bolts and get some parts.
To start from the beginning...
My car of choice is the Kingroad Trophy. All the SBT cars are roughly equal, and the KT is the most balanced of them all. The 25 in S gives a nice +1 S to the driver, unlike the Toyouyota or the Lambada Camera. Anyway it doesnt really matter.
I bought my mechanic, and set up affinity before my first race.
This left me with 0 bolts. So no parts for race 1. Generally for my races I try to choose low damage tracks (Speedys or Peruvians) so that I can save my mechanic action to install new parts if I have them. Usually I can get at least 1 of these 4 tracks anytime I sign on.
After my first race I came in 5 or 6, winning only 50 bolts. I immediately purchased a +1S others and a level 1 RH. Since my race was only light damage, I was able to install them the next day rather than use my mechanic for repair. Using my first days mechanic for affinity paid off as my first race bumped my affinity to 2%. Also I got to 6% in my first week of racing, a pleasant surprise.
As more bolts came in, I bought a few more parts. Ive been scanning the shops periodically for specific things. Others with A or S driver bonuses, or measly base parts with measly trigger bonuses. The specific triggers I want are AS SB SC CA or BA. If I cant get those I wait until the next day.
So far Ive bought a +3S others, a 3RH tire and a measly brake and gearbox with measly BA and CA, respectively. I also bought a second +3S others, because Im stupid and didnt check what I already had in my inventory.
Aftr installing the 3S other, I promoted to L2. A few days later with the brakes and tires, I promoted to L3. With my current 1000 bolts, I am hoping to save for the OCMMP, but due to the rarity of specific bonuses and bonus level parts I am looking for, I will buy parts if they become available. I doubt I will buy anything above level 3 in the shops, but rather turn to research. This could take forever, 8000 bolts, so Im not sure how long this attitude will last.
I plan on buying a second car for my subsequent drivers, as to maintain the affinity Im gaining with my first. Ive also considered the idea of hiring only drivers, no mechanics. While the repair values will be lower, it will give some flexibility in who races on which days, and get some occasional earnings out of a mechanic spot that otherwise wouldnt win me anything.
Not sure what L3 will hold as far as competition. The final 500 bolts for OCMMP could take 10 days, could take 2. Makes that wasted 270 on the duplicate others all the more frustrating. While it can ultimately go on the second car, if it takes me an extra 5 days to make that 270, thats 300 more bolts lost in delaying the completion of the OCMMP....

Team kenshinzen Presentation

Team Kenshinzen
All started a day back in the early October when the owner of the team, the mysterious man known with the nickname Kenshinzen decided to create a formula1 team from scratch. Wasn't easy to find mechanics, engineers, medical staff and recruit skilled drivers to create a succesfull team but after four months journalists agree that his gamble was succesfull. No team in that amount of time was able to be among the top10 teams and if you ask the owner, he'll tell you that is only the beginning. Blessed with the talent of HalloweenKing, a driver that came to the team as a gift from a sponsor and most of the fans believe he'll be the next FW champion.
The team includes many young talented drivers (a female among them) that will present you in order of league ranking.
1. HalloweenKing Kakita driving his new shinny ScuttleButtleria Turbo Rosy is ready to compete and reach elite league. Everyone in the team is sure about his success and are anxious to see him race with the best.
2. Kakita Shimazu is the older of all team driver and trying to guide the others with his experience. Rumors insist that soon he'll change a car and drive a specially tuned for him, Horsy Slowfront.
3. Kakita Noritoshi is the youngest team driver and already convinced critics that can achieve great things. Team trusted him with a good car, a FlashCrash specialized only for him.
4. Kaito Nakashima and his twin Akimoto Shun have alot of talent but lack experience and that cost them most of the times. Under the guidance of a personal trainer soon will be able to maximize their potential and show their skills. They drive a SpeedyFairHarry and a FairHenryKenzo.
5. Doji Kurohito is the older brother of Doji Nihime, the only female driver of the team. Both are talented and expected to gain promotion in higher leagues after the team upgrade their cars. Their cars are a Speed Beetle and a Heahenday Regenesis.
6. Daidoji Hideyoshi is mostly known for his daring driving style and his accidents. If he doesn't control his passion during the race, his future with the team is uncertain. His car (most of the times badly damaged) is a Toyouyota 2XD.
7. Kakita Nobunaga was one of the best when he arrived before two months in the team. Recently his perormance dropped dramatically and journalists believe his relationship with Nihime affects his performance. His car is a Lambada Camera V12.
8. Kakita Rensei is unknown to most of you because no one outside the team saw him race. He's a pure talent and many in the team believe he can be the best driver in the world. When Shimazu change car, he'll race with his Kingroad Trophy.

Team Shadowheart Presentation
Team Shadowheart
Team Shadowheart entered the FormulaWan Circuits in July of 2009. A small team, but, in the words of their second driver, one headed for greatness.
Kyle Shadowheart is actually the team's second driver. His father Taran started the team and hired a driver who only uses the name KShadow. "He's a bit odd at times, and rarely speaks about anything but cars and driving," says Kyle, "but he sure knows his way around the track. I'm happy we're in different skill leagues so I don't have to drive against him and that car of his." KShadow's Speed Beetle is outfitted with 2 parts from previous F-Wan contests and he also gets his first choice of parts when the team has funds for shopping. As the research and development team gets started, KShadow has been seen spending a lot of time in the R&D Center, guiding the part building process. When asked if he felt slighted by his family by not being the primary driver of the team that bears his name, Kyle states "I really don't mind. I've known KShadow for years, he taught me how to drive competitively. He was driving first and, quite frankly has better skills and the sponsors love him. It's best for the team."
Kyle himself drives a Kingroad Trophy. He's been a little slower than the others to develop it, but it's clear the car is his. He makes all the decisions about parts and repairs and seems extremely at home in the car. "I call her Kelly," smiles Kyle. "She's a bit of a Tom-girl, rough and tumble and curvy in all the right places."
The Team's third car is FlashCrash, shared by the team's two newest drivers, Derek Rutherford and Gideon Hartford. "FlashCrash is a good name for it," muses Gideon, "since I managed to crash it my second time out. I swear I thought they were going to fire me as soon as I got out of the medical center. But they fixed it up and had me out on the track as soon as I felt better."
So what are the team's plans for the future? "Well, R&D is coming along. We're looking to bring on a full time engineer soon." Kyle pauses a moment before continuing. "After that I think we're looking for a another driver and increasing the full-time health services staff. Tough to say until the engineer gets to work. With a few break throughs, we may be diverting the funds to parts sooner."
Whatever the case, this reporter sees the team on the road to success. Harold Northben, signing off.
