Readman Racing started in late October with Jamie as their single driver. In that short space of time, the young all-rounder has since rose to league 5, an impressive start to a fantastic racing career for sure, but what makes this young hot-shot whom he is? We interviewed him on his Driver's F-O-R-M-U-L-A-W-A-N...
F = Food; Favourite meal?
I'm very fond of Chicken Tikka Masala. Excellent meal. Charlotte likes it too.
O = Outside racing; What hobbies do you have off-track?
I play and beat everyone on the Xbox 360. I'm currently playing Left 4 Dead 2. Not even Charlotte can keep up with me!
R = Reading; Any book you can't put down?
Well, I like "The Stone Cold Truth" by Stone Cold Steve Austin. I'm a huge fan of wrestling and of Austin's career. This book is very detailed in showing how hard his career was, throughout the years.
M = Music; What are you listening to?
I like a lot of everything to be honest, I really have no specific favourite but I like a lot of rock.
U = Understudy; Anyone you look up to?
Well, I look up to a few people. Firstly, I look up to my teammate/girlfriend Charlotte Mulley. She is one of the very few women who has made it, to where she is today. I also look up to the big guys for inspiration and I set myself challenges to get up o their level and then, excel their level by far. I only hope that I can do it with the help of Charlotte and Readman Racing.
L = Location; Where about in the world are you living?
Great Britain. I wouldn't live anywhere else, to be honest. At least, not for the timebeing.
A = AKA; Any nicknames?
Well, the mechanics in the pits have a nickname for me. They call me "The Destructor", which sounds quite stupid. The reason why they call me that is because, when I start a race, the car is in perfect condition, it's all shined up and it looks real nice. But after the race, the car is almost in bits. Pretty pathetic, I know, but mechanics work in mysterious ways.
W = World; Where would you like to go in the world?
I'd like to travel the world someday with Charlotte. I'd like to visit New York most of all though. The city that never sleeps. That will be a very special trip for us.
A = Animals; Any pets?
Charlotte recently just a got a puppy actually. I think she's called it Rose but we don't know what breed it is because it's a mixed breed. I've guessed it's a Golden Retriver mixed but either way, Charlotte loves that dog.
N = Next Year; Where would you like to see your career reach in a years time?
I'd like to be one of the Top 10 drivers out there, taking Readman Racing to a new level. Readman Racing has been so good to us and we will repay their trust and kindness to us, that they have shown for the past couple of months. We want to thank them from the bottom of our hearts and reassure them our loyalty to the team.
